Yes, sometimes it happens: I have some free time and I write on my blog!
(as long as waking up at 7.30am can be considered “free time”…)

I am super happy and excited because, with 26 lists, I am halfway through the 1 year project! Hooray!
This has also been a good week, with lots of friends (both old and new), movies, new ideas and projects.

Oh yes, I am working on a special project and I can’t wait to share it with you! The deadline is July 13, so I foresee more early mornings spent working… at least, at 8am is not too hot and my brain is on full throttle!

Hello April!!
Hello new apartment! Today is the day: I am in my new/old room, where I lived until August. YES!

Now I am busy organizing my stuff and my clothes… and next week, after the Easter holidays, I will bring the rest of my things that are now in my hometown.

Can’t wait to share some pics of my new room!

HELLO!

I didn’t forget about you, my lovely readers! I am super busy, and also, I still don’t have an internet connection at home! BOOO!
But, GREAT NEWS! From April 1st, I’ll have a new room! I am going to live in the apartment I shared last year with my lovely housemate Raffaella… I can’t wait! <3

Obviously, I already went to IKEA to look for some new furniture… oh, the excitement! And most of all, once in my new room, I will be able to be more producvite, at least blog-wise.

Lots of work to do, and I’m trying to balance between a billion things to do/organize/decide… BUT, some good news: seems that in April I will have a home, with an internet connection, a closet, a desk… I CAN’T WAIT!

Illustrated love list time! 
It’s amazing to see that a month has already gone since I started my 52 weeks project :) 

Another snowy, slow week, made of tons of lazy moments and liters of hot tea.
I really enjoy my new job, and the people there: they’re so nice! Yay!

Highlights of the week: ♥ I made a new illustration and it’s on my Society6 shop, have a look! ♥ I won another awesome contest: some lovely jewels by Hannah Zakari… I can’t wait to receive the package!! ♥ okonomiyaki and gyoza ♥ walking in the snow with S. and having snowball fights ♥ watching Japanese “pinky violence” movies: they’re insane! ♥ warm clothes ready to be worn ♥ weird dreams involving one of my friends being pregnant ♥ date night with my amaziiiiiiiing boyfriend… ♥ …and being super happy and proud that his illustration is now online on They draw and travel ♥ lots of cuddles on the sofa while watching trash tv ♥ baking muffins ♥ feeling so happy to be in my favorite city in the world, with the best boyfriend in the universe!

Thursday Love List -Sunday edition!

Weekend love list… what a week! As you already know, I am in Rome, with a new job! I am sooo happy and excited!
For a few weeks, I will post my love list on an irregular basis… I don’t have an internet connection where I live! And also, I forgot my drawing tablet in Perugia, so I can’t add color to my lists… booo!

Here are some things that made my week: ♥ my boyfriend! He’s the best boyfriend in the world, I love him so much! ♥ my new job: I work with a great graphic design team, in a fantastic studio… everything seems perfect ♥ lunchtime with studiomates ♥ lovely new cat friends: Carlotta, Pompeo, Poldo and Pallino ♥ discovering new recipes (baozi! And a delicious soup with leek and shiitake mushrooms!) ♥ cheesecake ♥ playing Okamiden on Nintendo DS ♥ Harry Potter overdose… YES, I’m still caught in this mania! ♥ rabbit earmuffs and kitty socks ♥ planning Chinese dinners with my ex housemate ♥ my friends from university getting their degrees ♥ BEING IN ROME, AGAIN!

Hello, Thursday! I am so happy today (even if I have been fighting with an awful cough, and still am…): I just learnt that I found a job, in Rome! 

OH YES! It is in a great graphic design studio, and I’m so excited! The first month will be a “trial” period, so that I can see how they work and learn new things, and then, hopefully, I’ll be a proper designer. 

This awesome news definitely cheered me up after a boring week spent indoors, dealing with cough, fever and flu.

Now I’m all about writing lists of things to do before leaving, what I need to buy and bring to Rome, and most important, checking items off my January to-do list! These last few days of the month are going to be super busy!

But now, the love list: ♥ cinema + pizza night (I saw “Shame” last night… did you like it? Because I didn’t) ♥ chit-chatting on twitter with two of my favorite illustrators in the world: it is SO exciting what social media allow you to do ♥ practising calligraphy ♥ planning outfits for my first day at work ♥ my new bag (see the above illustration) ♥ Harry Potter overdose: I read 3 books in a month (#4, #5, and I am now finishing the #6) and last night I dreamt that I was in Hogwarts ♥ beginning to learn and understand how to properly use my drawing tablet ♥ having so many illustrations and work to do! I feel so inspired, and this is fantastic.

Yay! I’m so happy, because this 52 weeks project is really fun to do!

Weird days over here… half lazy, half hyperactive. But something good happened, too! Here is the weekly love list:

♥ season sales! This meant a new pair of jeans, an awesome leopard print shirt and a plastic bangle (which I call “the prism bracelet”) ♥ receiving lots of great stuff from my new friend Charlotte ♥ watching “Mulholland Drive” for the 4th time in my life, and enjoying it as if it was the first ♥ drinking incredible amounts of tea ♥ buying books online: I ordered “Subway” by Christoph Niemann and “Hyperactivitypography from A to Z” by Studio 3… I can’t wait to receive them! ♥ arranging the clothes in my closet by type and color ♥ telephone calls with S. ♥ Saturday dinners at home with friends & delicious pizza ♥ designing my own business cards ♥ drooling over some wedge ankle boots on Solestruck.com ♥ David Letterman ♥ surprising emails in Italian from my international BFF, love her so much! ♥ precious tips on scanning images from the lovely Kris Atomic ♥ baking muffins! I haven’t baked one in a while (last time was a few days after Christmas!) and I have to try new recipes!

It’s time for me to officially unveil my 52 Weeks Project: the “Illustrated Thursday Love List”.

I have always admired those people who manage to keep up with weekly (or daily) projects, therefore I decided to start my own. And a series of doodles dedicated to my life tales seemed to me the easiest, funnier and inspiring things to do: writing my weekly love list is one of my favorite activities ever!

Along with the illustrated love list, I’ll keep writing down the little things that made me happy.

♥ First of all, I’m going to a job interview later this afternoon! Fingers crossed for me! I’m so anxious/excited! ♥ chit-chats and confessions with lovely girls ♥ shopping during season sales: I don’t need much, I’m just looking for a pair of jeans and some sweaters, but it’s fun nonetheless ♥ buying my first matte lipstick ever (the color is called “Candy Pink”, love it!) ♥ planning lots of things to do ♥ some beautiful sunsets from the balcony in my parents’ room. Why are sunsets in winter the best? ♥ roasted potatoes with ground pepper and onions ♥ being a tea addict: it’s better than coffee!

I’m sitting at my desk with the lovely Micia on my lap: she has a new collar (blue, with rhinestones) and she’s so cute and chic! Is there anything better than having a warm and soft “hot-water bottle”, that also purrs and meows? <3

On Sunday/Tuesday I went to Rome: due to an unexpected call (job interview on Monday) I had the chance to spend a couple of lovely days with S.

Here is my pre-Christmas love list: ♥ sending Xmas cards to close friends ♥ Chinese lunch on a super cold day: I love Chinese soups! ♥ long strolls hand in hand with my boyfriend ♥ Christmas tree ♥ wrapping the last presents ♥ my suuuper warm faux-fur trapper hat… ♥ …and my new faux-fur snood! (Yes, I’m obsessed with fur!) ♥ beers with Raffaella (my lovely ex-housemate): I miss her SO MUCH ♥ stitching and sewing ♥ planning a restyling of my printed portfolio ♥ counting down the days to meeting my BFF ♥ home-made felafel ♥ winning my first contest ever! ♥ weird dreams involving high-school mates, the Alps, and me worrying too much about clothes ♥ watching Ergo Proxy (I almost finished the series! Love it!) ♥ cabbage+potatoes soup ♥ recipes exchange with my neighbor ♥ and finally, I love that I have no idea on how to celebrate Nwe Year’s Eve. Usually, I decide what to do on the 30th! And you?
